Microsoft Power BI for Jira - Quick Start

Microsoft Power BI for Jira - Quick Start

Microsoft Power BI for Jira is a connector that enables teams to embed interactive Power BI reports and dashboards directly into Jira and Jira Service Management. This Power BI Jira connector eliminates the need to switch between platforms, bringing your business intelligence and analytics into your project management workflow.

The integration between Power BI and Jira allows you to display real-time data visualizations within Jira issues and project dashboards. Whether you're tracking sprint metrics, monitoring service desk performance, or analyzing project KPIs, you can connect Jira to Power BI and view your reporting dashboards without leaving your workspace.

The Power BI connector for Jira supports both Jira Software and Jira Service Management, maintaining real-time synchronization and preserving existing Power BI security permissions. Users can interact with filters, slicers, and drill-through features directly within the embedded view. The connector requires no complex configuration. After installing it, simply paste your Power BI report URL into a Jira issue or dashboard to begin visualizing your data, creating a unified environment for project tracking and data-driven decision making.
