Google Forms for Confluence – Quick Start
Google Forms for Confluence allows you to easily embed a Google Form inside a Confluence page.
How to get a Google Form’s URL
Google does not support uploading files in external applications.
Trying to embed a Google Form that contains a “File upload” question will result in a “docs.google.com refused to connect” error.
In Google Forms, click on Send in the upper right corner of the screen.
Click the link button, then Copy.
How to embed Google Forms in a Confluence page
Auto mode
Copy the public URL address of your Google Forms
Paste it into your Confluence editor
(Optional) Edit the viewer settings (at least 320x320 px).
Manual mode
Copy the public URL address of your Google Forms
Open the Google Forms macro in Confluence
Paste the URL of the form into the corresponding section
(Optional) Edit the viewer settings (at least 320x320 px)
If you want to paste the link without embedding the app, paste the URL into your page and perform the undo command (Ctrl+Z or Cmd+Z).
The app may not work properly if cookies are disabled or blocked by your browser.
If you’re using Microsoft Edge, please make sure to set your tracking prevention level to Basic or Balanced.
Currently, support for Safari browser is limited.
Since Google’s security policies prevent editing forms in external applications, clicking the Edit button inside an embedded view will result in a “docs.google.com refused to connect” error.
In this case, just refresh the page to restore the embedder’s state.
