Troubleshoot Google login screen not showing in desktop client (Error “403. That’s an error.”)
Restricted Google documents require login in order to be viewed and embedded.
It may happen that, when trying to embed them in monday.com’s desktop client, Google login screen doesn’t show up and instead a generic error is displayed by Google.
To fix this, you can follow this procedure:
Temporarily disable the restriction OR copy the link of any unrestricted Google file
Embed the link or refresh the page if you’re not changing link
The Google login page will show up. Login into your Google account
You can now enable the restriction again or swap back to the file you originally intended to embed
