Easily embed Microsoft Stream videos into your Confluence page in a matter of seconds with Microsoft Stream for Confluence.

How to use

The app may not work properly if cookies are disabled or blocked by your browser.

Note: if want to paste the link without embedding the video, just paste the URL followed by the undo command (Ctrl+Z or Cmd+Z).

Auto mode

  1. Copy the URL address of your Microsoft Stream video (as shown here)

  2. Paste it into your Confluence editor

  3. (Optional) Edit the viewer settings

Manual mode

  1. Copy the URL address of your Microsoft Stream video (as shown here)

  2. Open the Stream macro in Confluence

  3. Paste the URL of the video into the corresponding section

  4. (Optional) Edit the viewer settings

  5. Click “Insert”

Advanced settings

From the macro settings, you can set:

  • Start at – The viewer will start the video at the desired point

  • Autoplay – If enabled, the viewer will automatically play the video once the Confluence page is fully loaded

  • Show info – Show the video info on thumbnail

  • Width and height of the player

  • No labels
