In most embedder apps, logging into a Google account that has editor access to the form will make the Edit button appear inside the embedded view.

However, clicking it will result in a “docs.google.com refused to connect” error, since Google’s security policies prevent editing forms in external applications. In this case, just refresh the page to restore the embedder’s state.

Google does not support uploading files in external applications.

Trying to embed a Google Form that contains a “File upload” question will result in a “docs.google.com refused to connect” error.

  1. Make sure your Form is not restricted.

  2. In Google Forms, click on Send in the upper right corner of the screen.

  3. Click the link button, then Copy.
