Using Replio for Jira

Click on the Replio icon in your platform and start chatting.

 

Now, you have to connect your account.

 

Just use the command connect and follow the instructions.

 

Once you get the confirmation, go back to the chat window and start using Replio.

Note: If you want to change the connected Jira instance, you need first to disconnect your account with the command disconnect

To view the issues assigned to you, you can use phrases such as: 

  • What are my open issues?

  • Give me my current todo issues

  • My issues in active sprint

  • List my issues for current sprint

  • What are my closed issues?

  • Closed issues

  • What are my closed issues for SSP?

 

In order to improve the readability, Replio will output the first three issues only.

To view one issue starting from the ID, you can use phrases such as:

  • Give me issue SSP-12

  • Show me SSP-12

 

Replio will prompt some predefined actions. You can click the corrisponding buttons when showed or, if you prefer, you can continue chatting.

  • Log my work on SSP-12

  • Log 2h 30m on SSP-12

  • Comment issue SSP-12

  • Assign issue SSP-12

 

In case two or more team members have the same name, Replio will ask you to disambiguate.

If you want to quickly create a new issue, you can use phrases such as:

  • Create issue on SSP

  • Insert issue on SSP

  • Add issue on SSP

 

You can also specify the type of issue

  • Create new bug

  • Create new user story

 

 And if, for whatever reason, you wish to interrupt your last interaction, you can type ignore or exit.

Here’s a list of quick actions Replio can perform and some examples to trigger them:

  • connect : connect to Jira

  • disconnect: disconnect from Jira

  • list your issues: show my open issues on PROJ / what are my closed issues on current sprint? / etc.

  • get issue info: show me PROJ-14 / describe PROJ-14 / etc.

  • transition: transition PROJ-14 / change status PROJ-14

  • create issues: add new bug on PROJ / insert user story on PROJ / etc.

  • log work: log 2h 30m on PROJ-14 / add worklog to PROJ-14 / etc.

  • assign issue: assign PROJ-14 to Charles / etc.

  • comment issue: add new comment to PROJ-14 / can you add a new comment to PROJ-14?

  • show comments: show comments on PROJ-14 / what are the comments on PROJ-14?

  • ignore request: cancel / exit / etc.

  • ask a question about Agile: What is Scrum? / What is Backlog? / etc.
