 Microsoft Power BI

  • From your workspace, open the report and click File

  • Click Embed report

  • Now you can click:

    • Website or portal if you want your users to log into a licensed Power BI account to see the report.
      The URL link will look like this: https://app.powerbi.com/reportEmbed...

    • Publish to web (public) if you want your report to be publicly available without login.
      The URL link will look like this: https://app.powerbi.com/view...

 

Please note that some Power BI features may not be supported in the public version of embedded reports.

 

 Microsoft Stream

The URL of the video is the web address of the Microsoft Stream video in your browser.

 Microsoft Forms

You can get the URL of your Microsoft Form by clicking on “Copy” under the tab “Share”.

Alternatively, if you are navigating the form as a viewer, you can copy the address displayed in your web browser’s address bar.

The forms must be publicly accessible to be embedded correctly.

If you are copying the URL from the address bar, make sure that you are NOT in edit mode, otherwise the form will not be embedded correctly.

 

 Microsoft Visio

You can get the URL of your Microsoft Visio graph by clicking on the Option button and then “Embed”.

A popup window will show up. You need to copy the “Embed URL”.

The graph must be publicly accessible to be embedded correctly.

 Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Forms

Retrieve the document URL

You can get the URL of your Google document by clicking on “Share”, then on the button ”Copy link”.

The document must be publicly accessible to be embedded correctly.

How to embed in monday.com

 Embed as a Board View

In a board, click on the Add view button and then on Apps.

In the Installed Apps, find the app you want to embed and click on Open in board.

The embedder will show up, displaying instructions on how to retrieve the URL for the specific app.

In the Settings panel, paste the URL link of your document in the corresponding text box.

Done!

 Embed as an Item View

  1. In a board view, click on an Item.

  2. Click on the Add view button in the upper right corner of the item panel.

  3. Click on Go to item views center.

  4. Click on Installed Apps.

  5. In the Board View card of the embedder, click on Add to item.

  6. Click on Settings.

  7. Select the Link option. A new “Link” column will appear in your board.

  8. Close the settings panel.

  9. Paste the URL link of your document as field of your item under the newly added column.

  10. (Optional) Edit the settings.

 Embed as a dashboard widget

  1. In a dashboard, click on Add widget.

  2. Click on Widget Center.

  3. Click on Installed Apps.

  4. In the Widget card of the embedder, click on Add widget.

  5. If asked, select a board.

  6. Click on the Options button in the upper right corner of the widget.

  7. Click on Settings.

  8. Paste the URL link of your document in the corresponding text box.

  9. (Optional) Edit the settings.

 Embed as a document widget

  1. In a workdoc, type /widget and select the corresponding option.

  2. Click on More widgets.

  3. Click on Installed Apps.

  4. In the Widget card of the embedder, click on Add widget.

  5. If asked, select a board.

  6. Click on the Options button in the upper right corner of the widget.

  7. Click on Settings.

  8. Paste the URL link of your document in the corresponding text box.

  9. (Optional) Edit the settings.
